The Director, Next Steps is responsible for a variety of tasks. This includes providing high quality secretariat support to a wide variety of meetings including operational committees and high-level councils. The Director is also responsible for the coordination of information gathering and liaising across the directorate and other directorates to source this information. Skilled engagement and communication are essential to be successful in the role along with the ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders in a trauma informed and culturally sensitive manner. The Director will be required to manage a variety of projects aligned with the implementation of the Next Steps Strategy. Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Education or an allied health position are desirable but not essential. Experience and/or a desire to work in a community services environment is essential.
