About the role
Constructive Building Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Gnangara, Western Australia. This full-time role will be responsible for providing innovative and practical structural engineering solutions for a variety of construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Performing structural analysis, design, and detailing for residential and commercial buildings;
* Collaborating with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and practical structural solutions;
* Conducting site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and identify potential issues;
* Preparing detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications to support construction activities;
* Providing expert technical advice and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process;
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards;
* Mentoring and supervising junior members of the engineering team.
What we're looking for
* A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification;
* 7+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar structural engineering role;
* Extensive experience in the design of a wide range of building structures, including concrete, steel, and timber systems;
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders;
* Familiarity with Australian building codes and regulations;
* A valid driver's licence.
