An outstanding prospect currently exists for an experienced Receptionist and Office Administrator to commence in a full-time, permanent position in a Toowoomba-based Christian College.
Applicants for this vacancy must have an understanding of the philosophy of Christian education as practiced in the school.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Welcoming all visitors including parents, carers, students, academic staff and members of the public to the Secondary School
Directing telephone calls to the appropriate person, or taking messages if required
Using the School database (Edumate) to perform daily duties
Working with the Deputy Head of Secondary to organise internal cover and relief teachers for absent teachers
Recording appointments for students meeting with senior staff members
Providing general administration support to senior staff members and teachers, as requested.
Applicants should possess the following skills and experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience working as a Receptionist or Office Administrator
An understanding of the philosophy of Christian education practiced in the school.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
A strong customer focus
High level attention to detail
Possess a current valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
