As a result of an internal promotion, we are looking for an engaging telesales professional to join our team as a Business Sales Consultant (Appointment Setter). As a proactive member of the Marketing team, this role takes charge of making strategic outbound calls to targeted trade credit insurance prospects, working closely with the Head of Marketing to identify promising leads and set appointments for our sales team.

What does the role involve?
* Calling targeted prospects to schedule meetings for our sales team.
* Conducting targeted market research to identify new business opportunities.
* Assessing prospect needs to tailor your approach and maximise engagement.
* Using NCI's full product suite as a strong value‐led introduction to spark interest and open new opportunities.
* Completing follow‐up actions, including reporting on calls made, appointments set, and outcomes achieved.

To succeed in the role you will demonstrate:
* Excellent phone manner and a drive to exceed KPI's.
* A passion for sales, strong self‐motivation, and a results‐driven mindset.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to pick up a complex product and explain it with ease - financial acumen is important!
* Strong problem‐solving abilities, resilience, and the capacity to work well under pressure.
* A commitment to quality, confidentiality, and delivering exceptional service to stakeholders.
* A collaborative approach, with diligence and strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated cold‐calling experience.
* Experience using Pipedrive or similar CRM software (desirable).
