Key Role in Defence Project Delivery
Play a key role in delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.
Job Description:
Deliver cutting edge command and control capabilities for the Joint Land Force project in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the project manager in setting priorities, workflows and managing work packages.
* Prepare and review project documentation including strategies, plans and estimates.
* Facilitate briefings, workshops and reports for defence stakeholders.
* Lead multi-disciplinary teams for discrete tasks and ensure delivery to scope, cost and schedule.
* Assist with procurement activities including FMS requests and tender evaluations.
Requirements:
* Experience in project management supporting defence, ideally on a CASG project.
* Strong communication and technical writing skills, with stakeholder engagement experience.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities in complex environments.
* Experience with defence finance systems and procurement processes.
* Relevant qualifications preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM)
Due to the nature of the work, you must hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations requirements may also be necessary.
