You will be accountable for revenue growth, network profitability, and the strategic execution of national sales operations.This role requires a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the automotive industry, capable of driving operational excellence and collaborating across key business functions including Marketing, Network Development, Product Planning, Aftersales, and Logistics.Your Main Responsibilities Will IncludeDevelop and execute national sales strategies to achieve volume, market share, stock, COOP and CEM targets across B2C, B2B, dealer, fleet, and digital platformsProvide clear and data-driven recommendations to improve dealer performance, process efficiency, stock management and customer experienceLead the preparation of annual sales budgets and dealer volume targets, and ensure alignment with OEM production and business plansOversee sales forecasting, inventory planning, and executive reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insightsDrive cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Network Development teamsChampion dealer performance through structured reviews, continuous improvement plans and consistent stakeholder engagementEnsure the development and delivery of effective training and engagement strategies for the dealer networkUphold governance through effective resource management, risk mitigation, and performance reporting to Volkswagen Group Australia and the wider Volkswagen networkAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Extensive experience in automotive sales management, ideally within an OEM or major dealership groupMinimum 8 -10 years of progressive experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership roleStrong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to link data and strategy to tangible outcomesProven capability in coaching high-performing teams and developing collaborative business partnershipsDeep understanding of sales channels, customer behaviour and the evolving automotive landscapeStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with electric vehicles, digital retailing, and connected car technologiesExperience with CRM and sales enablement tools such as SalesforceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferredOur Benefits, Rewards And Recognition IncludeA culture of continuous learning, growth and development.
