**About the role**
Our client is looking for a motivated Technical Trainer. Your main purpose is to effectively
***train and educate Dealer Technical Staff in new product information and releases and to ensure Technicians have the required product knowledge to repair and maintain vehicles.
**Duties**
- Effectively train the Technical Staff with the targeted outcome of increased product knowledge
- Sort, plan and prepare training
- Develop a training outline in a modular format
- Draft and finalise training manuals
- Prepare the Training Centre for the upcoming training
- Send out invitations to Dealerships
- Deliver training in a technically precise and motivating format
- Conduct surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of the training delivered
- Alter training modules and delivery, if needed, based on the evaluation feedback
- Maintain training records
- Prepare reports on the effectiveness of the training delivered
- Perform other related duties as required
**Skills and experience**
- Background in the automotive industry as a service technician repairing trucks
- Proven track record in a technical training
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated skills in training material design and delivery
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to share and transfer technical knowledge effectively
- MS Office suite to an intermediate level
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team but also able to work autonomously with mínimal supervision, when needed
- Available to travel overseas or interstate at short notice
- Able to demonstrate an ability to live the company values
- Must be qualified in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
