Administrative Officer – Community & Primary Health
Join the North West Hospital and Health Service in providing high-quality, confidential administrative and workforce support to the Assistant Director of Nursing, Community and Primary Health Care. This role plays a key part in recruitment coordination, payroll support and the smooth day-to-day operations of community health services, contributing to safe, effective and culturally responsive care across the region.
About The Role
As an Administrative Officer within Community and Primary Health Care, you will provide professional, confidential and responsive support to senior nursing leadership. Working closely with Nurse Unit Managers and Team Leaders, you will help coordinate recruitment, workforce administration and office operations to ensure services run efficiently and meet operational and policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating recruitment, selection, payroll and workforce processes in line with Queensland Health policy.
* Providing high-level administrative and secretariat support, including meetings, agendas and minutes.
* Managing records, correspondence, calendars, asset registers and administrative systems.
* Supporting compliance, reporting, data management and quality workforce practices across Community and Primary Health Care.

Requirements
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep A/B and Tuberculosis.
* A period of probation may apply.
