About the role
Swimart Richmond is seeking a full-time Pool Cleaner/Technician to join our team in Richmond, NSW. As a Pool Cleaner/Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are kept clean, safe and in optimal condition for our clients. This hands-on role is essential in providing high-quality pool services to our customers.
What you'll be doing
1. Performing regular pool cleaning, maintenance and servicing tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, chemical testing and adjustments
2. Identifying and resolving any issues with pool equipment, such as pumps, filters and chlorinators
3. Providing excellent customer service by communicating pool care recommendations and addressing any client concerns
4. Maintaining accurate records of all pool maintenance activities
5. Safely operating and transporting pool maintenance equipment and chemicals
6. Adhering to all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a pool technician or cleaner is preferred however not a requirement.
2. Knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry and pool maintenance best practices is desirable
3. Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients
4. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
5. A valid driver's license
6. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
7. Ability to work weekends if required
