Intellectual Property Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Specialist to join our team. As an IP Specialist, you will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Australia and internationally.
* Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Australia and internationally,
* Preparing high quality written and verbal IP advice in a timely manner,
* Managing intellectual property portfolios for local and international clients,
* Developing and executing IP strategies tailored to client needs,
* Preparing and delivering IP related articles and presentations internally and externally,
About You
To be successful as an IP Specialist, you will have a degree in electrical or electronics engineering, computer systems engineering, mechatronics engineering, information and communications technology (ICT), physics, quantum computing, software engineering or a related technical field.
* A minimum of 1-3 years post-registration experience as a Patent Attorney,
* Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the above technical fields,
* Experience managing IP portfolios and developing IP strategies for Australian and international applicants,
* A client-focused approach and ability to build strong professional relationships,
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities,
* Exceptional technical knowledge,
* An eye for detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills,
* Advanced computer skills and database researching skills,
* Highly organised and responsible with experience prioritising and working to deadlines,
* A positive attitude with a collaborative and innovative mindset.
