About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Strategy & Commercial, this role will see you lead and manage all commercial activity — from business development and bidding to pricing, contracts, and governance.
It's a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail while shaping strategy and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end bid process: opportunity qualification, solution development, pricing, risk, and negotiation
* Build compelling commercial and financial models to support winning proposals
* Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Oversee commercial contracts — administration, invoicing, risk management, governance, and reporting
* Support delivery teams with contractual obligations and commercial advice
* Drive improvements in commercial tools, reporting, and processes
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience in commercial leadership, bids/tenders, or contract management
* Strong financial modelling and pricing strategy expertise
* Track record in asset-heavy, infrastructure, logistics, or service environments
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (business, finance, engineering, or related)
