Construction Manager (Civil) – Major Government & Infrastructure Projects | Northern Territory
We've been exclusively engaged to appoint an experienced Construction Manager (Civil) to take full ownership of multiple, large-scale civil infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory.
This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the business owners and senior management, with a strong focus on government, defence and general infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity
As Construction Manager (Civil), you'll have end-to-end responsibility for multiple civil projects being delivered concurrently. No two days will be the same, but your key deliverables will include:
Monitoring, analysing and constructively reviewing program, productivity, conformance and safety
Building, mentoring and leading high-performing project teams
Ensuring effective project team integration and resource management
Approving and proactively overseeing construction methodology
Maintaining and enhancing the company's reputation with clients and stakeholders
Supporting the Pre-Contracts team with methodology and programming input
This role will suit a commercially sharp civil construction leader who enjoys working at scale, influencing outcomes, and driving performance across multiple projects.
About You
You're an experienced leader in the civil contracting space, comfortable owning both delivery and commercial outcomes. Ideally, you will bring:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
Proven experience delivering large-scale projects ($100M+ preferred)
10+ years' post-graduate experience with a Principal Contractor
Experience managing hard-dollar projects >$50M
Solid skills in project management, financial management, forecasting, procurement and contracts
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Suite)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to set and drive performance objectives for your teams
Demonstrated ability to drive program to meet project objectives
Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain government security clearance
