Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of organisation-wide strategy with expert property insights and financial planning support
* Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of strategic property projects, including business case development and stakeholder engagement
* Oversee procurement, contractor management, and project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
* Develop and implement an organisation-wide property strategy focused on leasing, utilisation, and operational efficiency
* Analyse and optimise the performance of the property portfolio, identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Negotiate leasing contracts and manage legal and financial risks associated with property decisions
* Prepare and oversee property-related operating and capital expenditure budgets across the portfolio
Skills:
* 8+ years' experience in property strategy, capital works, and project delivery
* Proven ability to lead large-scale property projects, from selection to execution
* Strong commercial, legal, and negotiation skills, including lease administration
* Expertise in contractor procurement and management
* Skilled in property performance analysis and portfolio optimisation
* In-depth understanding of property legislation, including the Building Code of Australia
* Experience managing teams and engaging a wide range of stakeholders
* Desirable:
o Knowledge of property regulations related to Education and Housing services
