We are seeking Casual Security Supervisors and events Guards to work over our major event in October within Phillip Island in a night shift capacity.
The events take place over the third week of October and after hours over this period. The exact event and dates for the events will be provided to you once shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate security staff during events, ensuring compliance with security protocols and procedures.
* Plan and execute security arrangements for events, including crowd control, access management, and emergency response.
* Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings with security teams to ensure effective communication and operational readiness.
* Monitor and respond to security incidents and emergencies, maintaining calm and efficient operations.
* Liaise with Management and Security Operations Centre / ECC to address security concerns and ensure a safe environment.
* Maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents, staff attendance, and equipment inventory.
* Working collaboratively within a large team.
* Ensuring site abides to lockdown procedures and assets are secured.
* Ensuring the safety of patrons who are camping onsite.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
* Current Victorian Security License
* Current First Aid certificate
* Current National Police check
* Proven experience in security, preferably in event security or a similar field.
* Excellent presentation and grooming standards
* A Positive and Proactive Approach
* Strong communication skills, including incident report writing.
* Ability to multitask and work autonomously in high paced team environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of security best practices, crowd management techniques, and emergency response procedures.
* Have an understanding and worked Major Events within the Security Industry.
