About the role The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is a key educational leader within the Specialty Medicine program at Alfred Health. Aligned to the program and working closely with Nursing Services, Nurse Managers, and the wider Nursing Education team, the CNE: identifies, anticipates, and responds to developmental needs within the clinical environment delivers high-quality formal and informal education supports learners across all levels, including undergraduate students, graduates, developing nurses, and postgraduate participants provides guidance, role modelling, and coaching to support safe, evidence-based practice contributes to program-level educational planning, quality improvement, and guideline development fosters a positive learning culture that values inquiry, reflective practice, and continuous improvement This role requires leadership, collaboration, and a passion for building capability across a diverse nursing workforce.
