About this Position:

The Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in supporting sustainable, evidence-based decision-making across Lismore City Council. By providing expert financial advice, analysis, and insights, you will act as a trusted Business Partner. You will collaborate with departments to deliver real-time support that informs operational decisions and contributes to the financial health of Council.

What you will need to be successful:
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or business
* Full membership of a recognised professional institute or nearing completion (CA, CPA, IPA or equivalent)
* Advanced financial systems literacy including Microsoft Excel
* Extensive experience in financial and/or management accounting
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Full Time: 70 hours a fortnight.
Salary: Salary range from $89,267 to $102,657 per annum, plus superannuation.
