DANS In Home Care is looking for compassionate and reliable Active Night Care Workers to support our clients with gentle overnight routines. About the Role – Active Nights
As an Active Night Care Worker, you'll be supporting clients throughout the evening and overnight with tasks such as:
* Light domestic tasks to prepare the home for the next day
* Providing gentle personal care before bed or in the early morning
* Assisting with routine overnight checks
* Supporting clients who may wake occasionally and need reassurance or assistance
* Monitoring safety and wellbeing throughout the shift
* Documenting overnight activities and handing over to morning staff
This role is active —you'll have tasks to complete and clients to check in on—but it does not involve high-needs or complex care.
You'll always be supported, with regular check-ins and ongoing communication with our office team.

What We're Looking For
* Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or similar (preferred but not essential)
* Experience in care or support work (paid or unpaid)
* Driver's license & reliable vehicle
* Police Check (we reimburse if needed)
* Willingness to complete First Aid/CPR
* Someone calm, reliable, and attentive
* Comfortable working independently through the night
