Senior Business Analysts – Business Transformation & Process Uplift
We are seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to support a high-impact transformation initiative within a regulatory division. These roles will focus on delivering operational and capability uplift, designing fit-for-purpose business processes, and applying innovative approaches to business improvement.
You’ll report to the Director, Business Transformation and Analysis and work closely with a team of subject-matter experts (SMEs) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and design of scalable, fit-for-purpose business processes aligned with strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities for operational and capability uplift across the division.
- Apply best-practice methodologies to support business transformation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to co-design solutions for complex business challenges.
- Contribute to planning, documentation, and implementation activities within the transformation program.
- Navigate shifting priorities while maintaining a robust focus on delivery outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex government, regulatory, or enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in process analysis, design, and optimisation.
- Strong capability in gap analysis and current-state assessments, with actionable recommendations.
- Deep understanding of transformation methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or similar.
- Experience co-designing solutions with SMEs in ambiguous or evolving contexts.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Have baseline clearance or be eligible to obtain it (Australian Citizen)
Desirable Criteria
- Experience supporting contact centre operations and service delivery improvement.
- Ability to design and implement end-to-end value chains that enhance stakeholder outcomes.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and public sector policy frameworks.
- Knowledge of human-centred design or service design principles.
- Exposure to change management practices, including communication and training support.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and capability development across teams.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
