About the Role
GSK has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join the team. Based in GSK's head office in Abbotsford, Melbourne; the Commercial Manager, Classic Established Brands, will own a portfolio of established GSK brands (including new product formulations and brands in various stages of the product lifecycle. You will work with cross‑functional teams and collaborate with third‑party commercial partners to maximise revenue and market share through smart lifecycle management, commercial partnerships, promotional activity and business development.
You will also oversee core commercial activities such as forecasting, demand and operational planning and act quickly to resolve supply or market challenges.
Your role will be varied and will include:
* Leading operational planning and deliver performance excellence across the Core Commercial Cycle for the established brands
* Managing third‑party alliances and partnerships; building strong collaborative relationships and ensuring aligned commercial execution
* Developing and executing data‑driven strategies that optimise revenue and maximise market position
* Proactively identifying and resolving commercial and supply issues, escalating and mobilising cross‑functional resources as required
* Using data, modelling and market insight to inform demand planning, forecasting and strategic decisions
* Brand marketing and governance activities including promotional activity, and market research
* Leading cross‑functional project work, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline
* Substantial experience in brand or commercial management within pharma/healthcare. Experience with respiratory or related therapy areas, and with Loss of Exclusivity or generics is advantageous
* Strong project management skills — proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment
* Excellent financial and analytical capability, with hands‑on experience in financial modelling and forecasting
* Strong relationship and negotiation skills; experienced in managing external partners and internal stakeholders
* Strategic thinker with business acumen, resilience and a growth mindset. Able to make timely, informed decisions
