Overview
A veterinary surgeon is sought to join our practice in Falkirk. The team has low colleague turnover and the practice values continuity of care and strong rapport with clients and their pets. The role includes some sole charge and an OOH service until 10pm Monday to Friday, with one evening per week required. There is a focus on developing the caseload and supporting CPD and certificates.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied caseload
* Work both in practice and, when appropriate, in sole-charge capacity
* Participate in OOH service until 10pm Monday to Friday (one evening per week)
* Contribute to the development of the team and support CPD and specialisations
* Engage with clients to maintain continuity of care and strong rapport with pets and their owners
* Assist or lead in both consultations and surgical procedures as required
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
* Experience and confidence in all aspects of the role, with ability to handle both medical and surgical caseloads
* Willingness to work 4 days per week for full-time hours and participate in a 1-in-4 weekend pattern
* Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive practice culture

Location and Hours
Location: FK1 1LD, Falkirk, Central Lowlands of Scotland. The practice is based in Falkirk centre with ample parking and good transport links, including a train station within a short walk.
