About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at the Highfields & District Medical Centre in Highfields, and Lindsay Street Medical Centre in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a part-time position offering the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing services to our patients. This position is mainly based at the Highfields & District Medical Centre, Highfields; with 1 shift at Lindsay Street Medical Centre, Toowoomba.
Offering maximum of 38 hours per week, comprised as 4 x 8 hour shifts + 1 x 4 hour shift.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages, with a focus on care plans and health assessments
* Assisting with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
* Vaccination administration
* Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation using Best Practice software
* Promoting health education and disease prevention among patients and the community
What we're looking for
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a General Practice setting is preferable.
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families and the healthcare team
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Commitment to continuing professional development and providing high-quality patient-centred care
