Introduction This role sits at the intersection of operations, risk and regulation. You’ll be accountable for embedding operational compliance into day-to-day Fund Registry activities — translating regulatory and policy requirements into practical, scalable controls that support high-quality client outcomes. This is a hands-on, influential role suited to someone who balances regulatory rigour with operational pragmatism and enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders to uplift compliance capability. Description What you’ll do Own and maintain the operational compliance framework for Fund Registry, including obligations mapping and assurance activities Embed regulatory and internal policy requirements into BAU workflows, procedures and service standards Partner with Risk & Compliance on regulatory change and ongoing compliance monitoring Design, implement and oversee operational controls, monitoring and testing programs Lead end-to-end management of compliance incidents and breaches, including investigations, root-cause analysis and remediation Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews and client due diligence activities Act as a trusted operational compliance advisor to Fund Registry leaders and teams Build frontline compliance capability through coaching, training and practical guidance Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and strengthen controls without increasing risk Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring Experience in operational compliance within financial services, funds, registry or investor administration Strong understanding of risk-based compliance and embedding controls into operational processes Proven experience managing incidents, breaches and remediation activities Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across operations, risk, legal and technology Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable solutions High attention to detail with sound judgement in assessing risk and materiality Experience supporting audits, reviews or regulatory interactions Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Law, Risk or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) About Us Automic Group is Australia’s market leader in technology-driven investor administration.
