As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse Manager to lead and support our talented nursing team. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for an experienced nurse passionate about team development, clinical excellence, and creating a positive hospital culture.
About the Role
As Veterinary Nurse Manager, you will play a key leadership role supporting the daily operations of the hospital while guiding and developing the nursing team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, mentoring and supporting the veterinary nursing team
* Coordinating nursing rosters to ensure effective hospital coverage
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of nurses
* Promoting a positive, collaborative team culture
* Assisting with the implementation and compliance of company policies
* Managing conflict resolution and supporting difficult conversations when required
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including Workplace Health and Safety
* Driving continuous improvement in nursing processes and patient care standards
About You
* Veterinary Nursing qualifications with strong clinical experience
* Minimum 3 years' leadership or management experience
* Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence managing challenges, including conflict resolution
* A commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
* Willingness to work every second weekend, some evenings and public holidays as required
