We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves delivering exceptional HR support and guidance to our portfolio of properties across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice to management and employees on HR matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal regulations.
2. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across our diverse portfolio, providing timely HR support and fostering collaboration.
3. Handle employee matters sensitively and proactively, addressing grievances and disciplinary issues to maintain a harmonious environment.
4. Assist in performance management processes, supporting employee development and professional growth.
5. Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining accurate records.
6. Manage HR budgetary aspects within the portfolio, including rostering, leave accruals, and wages.
7. Assist with documentation for employer-nominated visa sponsorships.
8. Collaborate with a team of experienced HR professionals, sharing insights and best practices to achieve HR goals.
Qualifications:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
3. Resilience and adaptability to achieve goals despite obstacles and change.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Effective planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with urgency.
6. Ability to handle confidential information maturely and sensitively.
7. Availability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
