Exciting opportunities are currently available for experienced Registrars or Principal House Officers (Orthopaedics) to join the Department of Orthopaedics at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

* To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
* To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
* The appointment will be to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service for the provision of services to Bundaberg Hospital
* A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.

Several Temporary Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $175,370 p.a., comprising salary between $129,583 - $150,240 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and Vocational Training Subsidy (L4-L9) (Several Temporary Full Time Positions, 76 hours p.f., for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
