We have Spray Painter /Vehicle Painter positions available across our various locations. Main duties involve spray painting and sand blasting a variety of road transport vehicles and equipment at our local workshops.
Salaries are dependent on skills & experience -
* Bruce Rock, WA, $75,000 - $100,000
* Forrestfield, WA, $75,000 - $85,000
* Geraldton, WA, $80,000 - $100,000
* Port Hedland, WA, $105,000 - $125,000
These positions are -
* Full Time Permanent
* Various rosters available
* Tool Allowance $35.00 paid fortnightly
* ASAP Start
The key responsibilities for these roles include:
* Spray paint and sand blast road transport equipment.
* Preparing surfaces for paint application
* Mix and colour match paints to meet the requirements of the job.
* Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.
* Clean work areas and spray equipment.
* Good people and communication skills.
* Support and endorse the company vision, mission and family values.
* Meet deadlines & quality requirements to satisfy customer demand.
* Perform all duties whilst adhering to WHS requirements, & always with the correct use of PPE.
* Follow systems & procedures & complete paperwork.
Required skills and experience:
* Trade Qualification in Paint & Blast (preferred)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in trailer/heavy duty vehicle spray painting/sandblasting
* Have a good knowledge & recognition of painting & blasting heavy duty vehicles
* Forklift ticket (high risk licence)
* Driving licence
