TheRegionalandFireManagementServicesDivision'sOperationalTrainingUnit(OTU)designs,deliversandrecordsoperationaltrainingtomeettheneedsoftheagencywithastrongfocusonregionaldelivery.TheOTUalsomaintainsthedepartment'scapacitytooffernationallyrecognisedtraining,eLearningsolutionsandaccuratetrainingrecords.
WearecurrentlyseekingtoestablishapoolofsuitablecandidatesintheroleofMentoredAboriginalTrainingEmploymentScheme(MATES)TrainingSupportOfficer.
* CasemanagesanddeliversnationallyaccreditedConservationandEcosystemManagement(CEM)qualificationsthroughtrainingandassessment.
* MentorsAboriginaltraineesthroughouttheirqualificationpathways,workingcollaborativelywithworkplacesupervisorstosupporton-the-joblearning,andfacilitatingLanguage,Literacy,NumeracyandDigital(LLND)skilldevelopment.
* Facilitatesoperationaltraining.
* MaintainseffectiveliaisonwithexternalRegisteredTrainingOrganisations(RTOs).
* EnsurescompliancewithASQAStandardsforRTOs.

* Evidenceofabilitytoliaiseandnegotiateeffectivelywithstakeholders,includingsupervisors,management,andtrainingproviders,toensuresuccessfultrainingdelivery.
