Trainer & Assessor – Early Childhood Education & Care

We're looking for a Trainer & Assessor in Early Childhood Education & Care to join our Ballarat team. This is a part-time role (4 days per week) working with students who are preparing to enter — or grow within — the early childhood sector.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
What the role looks like
This is more than classroom delivery.
You'll work with students both in the classroom and in the workplace, helping them build the practical skills, confidence and knowledge they need to succeed in the industry.
You'll:
* Deliver engaging, real-world training (not just theory)
* Support students through their learning journey
* Work with employers and placement hosts
* Contribute to course development and continuous improvement
* Keep things compliant (without losing the human side of training)
Who this suits

* Has real experience in early childhood education and care
* Enjoys working with people and seeing them grow
* Can adapt their style to different learners
* Understands the VET environment
* Demonstrates some practical experience with VET sector operations and requirements
* Brings both structure and empathy to their work
What you'll need
* Current experience in the Early Childcare Education and Care Industry (within the previous 2 years)
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or successor) must be held before commencing employment
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (CHC30121 or higher)
* Current Working with Children Check & Police Check
* A practical understanding of the VET sector
