The RoleMeet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project.Advise clients & account managers on strategies to reach a particular audience.Determine the message the design should portray.Create images that identify a product or convey a message.Develop and refine branding including logo design, colour palettes, typography and visual identity.Create marketing material incorporating company branding, within pre-determined templates.Present designs to clients and/or the art director.Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design.Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.Create high-quality graphics, layouts, and visual assets for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, booklets, reports, stationery, signage, display graphics, large format, car wraps, social media and more.Collaborate and liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure designs align with project goals and brand guidelines.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.Review and proof all designs to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.The Successful Candidate3+ years minimum professional graphic design experience.A proactive, out of the box and forward thinker.Have a passion for all things graphic design and marketing.A fun & friendly personality.Know that BRAND is important.Ability to understand and follow creative briefs.Not afraid to get stuck in and tackle new tasks.Willingness to bring your own ideas to the creative team.Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign).Understand how to create print ready files e.g.
CMYK, DPI & Bleed.Doesn't get flustered easy!
You will have to juggle many tasks at once.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Well-developed communication and organisation skills.Experience with social media and/or website management will be highly regarded.Advanced prepress knowledge and experience.Strong eye for composition and layout design.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Ability to use time management skills to juggle multiple projects at once.Experience with multiple record and single record data merge.Data manipulation and confidence using Microsoft Excel.Existing knowledge of pre-press fixups.QualificationsBachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
