GenesisCare Oncology VIC has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full-time or part-time Radiation Oncologist. GenesisCare, Albury Wodonga is located within the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre and offers patients access to radiation therapy and allied health and supportive care services.
Our Albury team are committed to offering access to evidence-based care, designed to help achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. We offer Radiation therapy techniques including: External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT), Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), and specialised non-surgical treatment for skin cancer.
As part of the GenesisCare Oncology network, you will be working collaboratively with a group of Radiation Oncologists in Victoria and Nationally. State-wide educational meetings, chart rounds and opportunity for peer-to-peer collaboration. Our senior clinicians act in a mentoring role for all junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
The key focus of a Consultant Radiation Oncologist will be to provide safe best practice of radiation oncology treatment. As a clinical leader of the team your ability to effectively communicate and partner with the team will be required. Your commitment to providing high quality service to the broader community and contribute towards developing and upholding a high-performance culture that is in alignment with the purpose and values of GenesisCare is pivotal for success in the role. If you are a Radiation Oncologist looking to influence the future of Radiation Oncology in Victoria, this position will provide that opportunity. In addition, this is your prospect for involvement and leadership in further education and research.
Qualifications
Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
Holds Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiation Oncologists (RANZCR)
