We are looking for an enthusiastic German-speaking Tour Guide/Driver to join our team at Dingo Tours and Sydney auf Deutsch. You’ll be leading small-group city tours in Sydney and full-day tours to the Blue Mountains, as well as occasional private tours to the Southern Highlands and Hunter Valley.
Our tours run in small 11-seater vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter, Renault Master, or similar). You’ll be responsible for protected driving, delivering engaging commentary, and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.
What you’ll do
- Lead half-day Sydney city tours and full-day Blue Mountains tours
- Occasionally conduct private tours to regional areas (e.g., Southern Highlands, Hunter Valley)
- Safely drive and manage small-group vehicles (2–10 guests)
- Provide informative, entertaining, and culturally rich commentary
- Facilitate light hikes and guided walks
- Pick up and drop off the vehicle in the Eastern Suburbs (vehicle may be taken home for consecutive tours)
Requirements
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum Class C; LR or above is a bonus)
- Fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus)
- Australian citizen or permanent resident (not suitable for working holiday visas)
- Flexible availability — at least 3 days per week, including weekdays and weekends

- Previous guiding experience welcome, but not essential (training provided)
