We are looking for energised and engaging Disability Support Workers to join award-winning Mercy Connect Limited. As a recipient of the Telstra Best of Business State Award—winning the Championing Health/Embracing Innovation—we have new and exciting services and programs to offer people with disability. We are expanding and seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals interested in working with people with disability, including children and young adults.
The Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist people with disabilities with daily living tasks, community inclusion, and participation activities. Tasks involve supporting the person to maintain their mental and physical wellbeing, explore opportunities, and work towards outcomes important to them.
Mercy Connect provides services supporting adults, children, and older people with disabilities to live independently and engage in their community. Governed by Mercy Ministry Companions, we are a not-for-profit Catholic organisation, delivering programs funded by government agencies and the NDIS.

About you:
* Develop supportive relationships with individuals and teams
* Gain confidence, trust, and respect from Participants and colleagues
* Respect the dignity and rights of people with disabilities
* Support in line with Mercy Connect's mission, values, policies, procedures, and NDIS standards
* Availability for shift work on a rotating 4-week roster, including sleepovers, active nights, and weekends
* Working With Children Check for NSW & VIC
