ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - CONTRACT
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Roles reporting to the role: Nil
Contract Position: 6 months
We are a leading Top 50 AFR skilled services firm providing business and personal financial services. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant for a parental leave contract role - someone who is passionate about their attention to detail and efficiency.
The role is available for someone to start in November, December or January.
Main Duties:
• Effectively manages Accounts inbox responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner
• Assists the finance team with accounts payable including processing invoices, credit card transactions and payments
• Maintains bank reconciliation and staff reimbursements
• Support debt collection from clients
• Reviews, and maintains costs in Netsuite for job allocations
• General Netsuite administration; creating and generating reports weekly
• Manages direct client payments, and bank processed payments
• Ad hoc projects
Desired Skills / Experience:
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word & Excel)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Confident with senior stakeholder management
• Professional and tidy presentation
• High attention to detail
• Positive and \"can do\" attitude
