We're partnering with a leading Foodservice supplier operating in high volume categories, an organisation with real momentum and a clear growth agenda.
Our client sits in a unique position in the market and is making meaningful investment in large-scale manufacturing to continue strengthening its position as a key supplier to Australia's Foodservice, QSR and Retail sectors.
As the Food Technologist, you will be critical in facilitating the technical requirements of the products through the factory.
Specically you will:
· Manage all tasks associated with new product development from concept to commercialisation.
· Plan, manage and assist in factory trials involving new products, new equipment and new processes.
· Research, understand and sourcing of required ingredients.
· Plan, formulate and conduct benchtop trials.
· Design and conduct product evaluation and sensory analysis.
· Troubleshoot and conduct product improvement.
· Cook Validations shelf life.
· Samples for HK Target.
· Day to day maintenance of PD lab/test kitchen equipment and sample inventory.
· Participate in and assist in internal and external product showcase sessions.
· Participate and assist customer collaboration to understand their product needs and develop products that meet or exceed their needs.
The successful candidate will need the following:
• Food Science or other applicable degrees (preferred)
• A minimum of 1-2 years of R&D Experience in the food industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, FSANZ, food safety principles, food technology principles.
• Good understanding of global QSR brands.
