Sydney Building Management & Projects (Sydney BMP) is looking for a dedicated, long-term Concierge to join our professional team at a large scale residential complex in North Ryde .
North Ryde Location
Shift: Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break each day)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: $43,421.05 per year + Superannuation
Accessibility: Free on-site parking or the Metro station is right next door.
Optional Additional Shift: Sunday, 4-hour shift (8am to 12pm) available, bringing the salary up to $49,203.44 per year + Superannuation
About the Role
As a Concierge, you’ll be the welcoming face of the building, ensuring residents and guests enjoy an exceptional experience. This position is based in a large residential complex (three buildings), requiring a proactive and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a warm and professional welcome to residents and visitors.
* Assist the Building Management team with supervising contractors, coordinating maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
* Conduct regular patrols to maintain building security, cleanliness, and presentation.
* Manage key distribution, visitor check-ins & parking, parcel deliveries, and other front-desk operations.
* Build strong relationships with residents and ensure their inquiries are handled efficiently.
About You
We are seeking an experienced concierge or front office professional who thrives in a high-paced environment and is committed to providing outstanding service.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in hotel front office, residential concierge, or a similar high customer service role.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Strong customer service mindset with a polished and professional presentation.
* Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage competing priorities.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach.
* Additional availability through the week to help across the portfolio preferred but not essential.
Requirements
* This role requires a long-term commitment and a stable schedule. Candidates must have full work rights in Australia and be available for all required shifts on an ongoing basis.
* Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
* White Card (or willingness to obtain).
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
