Maintenance Mechanic Role

This role executes all assigned work safely, effectively and efficiently within the general scope for the maintenance mechanic role. The successful candidate will provide feedback on preventative maintenance that might improve the process and note additional work required on inspected equipment.

* Execute assigned work tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
* Provide feedback on preventative maintenance to enhance process efficiency.
* Assist in the operation of plant utility systems.
* Repair and install equipment as needed.
* Troubleshoot hardware and processing issues.
* Oversee specialized contract services such as boiler inspections and chiller inspections.
* Participate in mobile first responder teams where applicable.

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and processes.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
