People2people are proud to be partnering with a renowned global financial services organisation to recruit an energetic and highly organised Payroll Team Leader. In this role, you’ll take ownership of multiple entities, act as a key point of contact for team members and support the Operations Lead in coordinating day-to-day processing requirements. You will also be responsible for overseeing essential payroll activities and providing guidance to colleagues based in their offshore offices.
What you'll be doing
- Day to day management of your payroll team
- Assist HR with training, development, new client proposals and implementation.
- Be involved in project work enhancing payroll processes
- End-to-end processing of payroll including PAYG, superannuation, IAS, payroll tax, workers compensation renewals, and termination calculations across Australian states and territories
- Preparation and participation of regular performance reviews, team meetings and training sessions
About you
- Robust end-to-end payroll experience
- Experience in high volume payroll processing/management for up to 500 employees
- Strong understanding of ATO, superannuation and payroll all Australian states and territories
- Strong verbal and written skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage and guide offshore offices
- Experience with Datacom, Horizon & HR3 is a nice to have however not a requirement
- Exposure to mixed employment types
- Experience within the shared services industry is desired
