The Cloud Services Manager will play a critical role in leading the Cloud Services team, driving infrastructure standards to improve the consistency and effectiveness of our Enterprise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Patterns.
This involves maintaining all Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments and lifecycle in Microsoft Azure – environment is predominately PaaS based services (AKS, Databricks, SQL PaaS, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, etc).
Key Responsibilities
* Team Management: Lead a team of Cloud Engineers and Cloud Designers to create and maintain Azure Enterprise IaC Patterns (environment is 100% IaC).
* Azure Deployments (DevOps) Ownership: Ensure deployment processes are fully automated, consistent, repeatable, and scalable.
* Azure Connectivity: Own 'Enterprise Hub' and all ingress/egress of network traffic across all of Azure.
* Azure Infrastructure Standards: Maintain naming standards, tagging standards, Azure detailed designs, etc.
* Azure Financial Governance: Ensure all deployments are tagged to appropriate cost centres for charge back purposes.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS services.
* Experience with containerisation (Azure Kubernetes Service preferred).
* Proven experience with public cloud network technologies.
* Strong financial acumen to manage budgets.
