**About Us**

Monash Health has a dedicated team focused on non-admitted data reporting, compliance and process improvements. Core responsibilities of this team include data extraction, data remediation, system testing and documentation and training. The team are also responsible for developing and implementing the necessary underlying business processes within key operational non-admitted areas to ensure compliance with Department of Health definitions and business rules.

There are currently 12 different VINAH reportable programs at Monash Health, with the majority of these reported from our central PAS, iPM. However, more recently, Monash have implemented an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to manage referrals, triage, waiting lists, appointments and VINAH reporting at the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) for Specialist Consulting clinics. Monash was the first agency to implement the Cerner Ambulatory module within Victoria and report VINAH through EMR.

We are looking to engage those with a passion for data governance and process improvement to integrate with our team who provide regularly, timely and accurate reporting of non-admitted data to the Department of Health.

**About the Role**

This role presents a unique opportunity to join an established team that will be involved in a significant change as the EMR is gradually implemented across other Specialist Consulting areas. This transition to the EMR will require reviewing and refining system functionality and workflows, forming new stakeholder relationships, and establishing a data audit and quality framework.

**Specifically, this role is responsible for**:

- Extraction and submission of non-admitted data for VINAH and AIMS reporting
- Clinic management, including the building and modification of clinic templates as well as clinic registration
- Establishing a robust data audit program to ensure compliance with Department of Health policies and procedures
- Ensuring data reporting accuracy and compliance by addressing workflow, system and/or extract issues
- Providing end-user education on non-admitted data reporting requirements
- Managing VINAH testing of 1 July changes, defect fixes and other system changes

This is a full time, ongoing position and will involve working both onsite and remotely.

**About You**

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- Demonstrated ability to lead change
- Ability to prioritise and escalate effectively to complete tasks efficiently and deliver outcomes with accuracy and a high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with experience in developing reference documentation and effectively presenting information to various audiences and stakeholders
- A willingness to learn with a positive approach to an ever-evolving environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Publisher, Visio)
- Ideally, you will also have previous experience reporting data to the Department of Health
