We are seeking a skilled Legal Professional to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own legal caseload, including all aspects of case preparation, management, and advocacy for appearances or instructing in courts and tribunals.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing legal advice and assistance to members, organisers, and executive regarding industrial and employment law matters.
* Dealing with regulatory authorities and interacting with legal/industrial officers from other unions.
* Researching and writing submissions on policy/law reform issues.
Benefits:
* Full-time position with a 36-hour week RDO arrangement.
* Salary range $150,000 - $165,000 (plus superannuation and allowances).
* Allowances of approximately $22,000 per annum.
* 12% Superannuation.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor with a current practicing certificate.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Two years' post-admission experience desirable.
* Some litigation experience is desirable.
* Employment, industrial, or WHS law experience essential.
