Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload passengers, cargo as needed. Ensure shuttle contents are secured for safe delivery to destination. Optimize routes to minimize traffic congestion. Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report any problems to supervisor immediately. Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and refuel when necessary. Respond promptly in case of emergencies by contacting supervisor and providing detailed information.
Position Details:
This is a temporary position that may be converted to permanent based on performance and business needs. The length of the position is approximately three months. The location is Brownsville, Texas.
Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate. Additionally, they should possess at least two years of professional experience driving people in a commercial setting. A Class B CDL passenger endorsement is also desirable.
Preferred Skills:
Candidates with 10+ years of professional driving experience, excellent knowledge of transport and safety codes, and outstanding organizational skills are preferred. Experience with route planning and customer-service background is also valuable.
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean DMV record are mandatory. Candidates must be able to work all required hours, including weekends and off-shifts, with minimal notice. Furthermore, applicants must meet ITAR requirements, which include being a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or eligible for required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
