Developer – In-House | The Udder Way
Help us change how the world moves milk. The Udder Way is an Australian reusable milk keg system eliminating single-use plastic bottles from cafés, offices, supermarkets, and food service venues by replacing them with 18L and 12L refillable and reusable kegs and our SaaS with data traceability and transparency. We're now looking for an in-house Developer to own and evolve the digital backbone of this system – from our keg-tracking app to partner tools and integrations.
About The Udder Way
We manufacture HACCP-certified, 18L and 12L reusable LDPE kegs that replace crates of plastic bottles and can be reused up to 800 times over 8–10 years, significantly cutting single-use plastic waste.
Our kegs are used in venues from cafés and restaurants to schools, hospitals, and large offices, delivering milk for systems that are efficient, sustainable, and easy for baristas and kitchens.
Our app enables dairies and partners to track every keg from dairy to venue, knowing what's clean, empty, or ready to go at a glance.
The Opportunity
You will be the go-to in-house developer working closely with founders, operations, and commercial teams to:
Own and improve The Udder Way app (keg tracking, status, lead generation for our dairy partners and logistics workflows).
Build and maintain integrations between our internal systems (CRM, logistics, partner tools) and the app.
Translate operational needs (route planning, cleaning cycles, asset status, reporting) into robust, simple digital tools for dairies and venues.
Work closely with founders and leadership on a mission-driven, commercially scaling product that's being adopted across multiple industries and geographies.
