Business Development Manager – Fuels & Lubricants (B2B)
Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

An established and expanding energy distributor in Papua New Guinea is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive national growth across fuels and lubricants in the B2B sector.
This is a senior commercial role responsible for developing new business opportunities, leading complex tenders, and expanding strategic accounts across key sectors including mining, transport, construction, marine, industrial, and government. The role plays a key part in strengthening national accounts capability and delivering disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage a national pipeline of B2B opportunities, identifying and converting new customers while expanding existing accounts.
* Lead tender submissions including proposal preparation, pricing, presentations, and negotiations.
* Develop strategic account growth plans to increase volume, margin, and product penetration.
* Maintain disciplined commercial forecasting and CRM pipeline management.
* Coordinate closely with operations, supply, finance, HSSE, and other internal teams to ensure strong delivery and compliance.
* Lead and develop sales capability across lubricants and related product lines.
About You
* 7–10+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development.
* Experience in sectors such as fuel, lubricants, mining, logistics, industrial services, or technical products.
* Proven track record of winning new business, managing tenders, and growing key accounts.
* Strong commercial negotiation, forecasting, and stakeholder management skills.
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
