Are you ready to lead impactful infrastructure projects and drive excellence in delivery? Ventia is seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic NBN team in Queensland (Brisbane). About The Role
As a Project Engineer you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing and delivering construction works with precision and safety. Your responsibilities will include –
* Leading a team of stie engineers and project coordinators to deliver high quality builds
* Developing and managing detailed project plans and schedules
* Overseeing financial forecasting and reporting to ensure accurate budget tracking
* Conducting on site safety audits and promoting a strong safety culture
* Liaising with stakeholders such as TMR, QR and local councils to secure permits
* Preparing and presenting weekly client reports
* Supporting contractor onboarding and integration
* Managing construction variations and ensuring compliance with contract obligations
* Driving continuous improvements through lessons learnt and innovation workshops
Required Skills And Experience
Experienced engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellence. You should also have strong personal drive, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Degree or diploma in civil engineering (or related field)
* Project management qualifications (PMBOK, PMP, Prince2)
* Proven experience in large scale infrastructure projects
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Solid understanding of cost and commercial management principles
