Overview
Marian Catholic College is an expansive co-educational 7-12 secondary school with an enrolment of around 700 students. The College is located in Griffith, New South Wales, in the Riverina region. Marian has a diverse culture rich in learning experiences and recently opened a Technological and Applied Studies Centre (TAS), along with new Staff and Administration facilities. Marian and its staff are committed to the learning and wellbeing of all students, with strong peer support, professional learning, and mentoring for teaching staff and those new to the profession.

Your New Role
The Classroom Teacher plays a key role within the school, supporting the implementation of the vision for learning and wellbeing. The Teacher follows College structures and procedures regarding students' academic and pastoral progress, facilitates collaborative processes that build positive learning relationships and a sense of achievement, and works with the KLA Leader, Head of Learning and Teaching, and the Principal to meet Marian Catholic College's learning goals.

Selection Criteria
* An understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.
* Professional qualifications in teaching and learning and specific KLA areas required.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement flexible and innovative programs to support learning.
* Ability to foster positive professional relationships with students and promote learning outcomes.
* Ability to work as part of a cohesive team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
* Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Understanding of NESA and Diocesan policies and school procedures.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and develop effective documentation on school and system platforms.
* Current Working with Children Check and NESA Accreditation
* Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B) or working towards Accreditation.
