Senior Pharmacist for Infectious Disease Management
As a senior pharmacist in infectious disease management, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and service to patients suffering from infectious diseases.
* You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide contemporary and evidence-based treatment services.
* Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines to ensure safe and effective antimicrobial use across the organisation.
* Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance education for healthcare professionals and consumers on infectious disease management.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake Clinical Pharmacy activities associated with the Infectious Diseases service.
* Act as a pharmacy lead in reviewing and implementing improvements to working practices and systems within the Agency in relation to antimicrobial stewardship.
* Support the Clinical Pharmacy team and contribute to organisational governance processes.
Requirements
* Proven experience in practicing as a pharmacist with experience in an infectious disease setting.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Experience in providing education and training to healthcare staff and developing policies that improve medication management.
