About the role
Join the customer service team at Shellharbour Security Systems Pty Ltd as a full-time Customer Service Representative based in Barrack Heights, NSW. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
What you'll be doing
* Responding to customer enquiries and requests via phone, email, and live chat in a friendly and professional manner
* Providing accurate information and guidance to customers on our products and services
* Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in a timely manner
* Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up actions
* Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and sharing feedback with the team
* Supporting the broader customer service team with administrative tasks as needed
* Scheduling jobs for service and installation teams
* Preparing quotes/accounts payable and receivables
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the security or service industry
* Minimum of 1 year customer-facing experience is required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain composure under pressure
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to effectively address customer concerns
* Proficiency in using Microsoft office software and other relevant technology
* Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential
* A collaborative team player with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
