Job Purpose and Impact
The purpose of this position is to operate semi‐automated production machinery in an organised and efficient manner. The role also involves accurately completing production records and ensuring effective communication with production staff, truck drivers, and supervisors. This role includes operating equipment associated with the oil loadout process and providing holiday relief for the oil loadout.
Key Accountabilities
* Daily safe and efficient running of all packaging production lines.
* Operate packaging production machinery.
* Operate forklift (reach truck) to transfer stock and load trucks.
* Prepare oil blends and additive mixtures requested.
* Control load/unload of bulk oils.
* Complete production records accurately.
* Minimise waste as part of normal production.
* Maintain housekeeping and GMP standards.
* Complete monthly product stock takes.
* Participate in process improvement activities.
* Communicate effectively with supervisor and internal site.
* Participate proactively in health and safety training and initiatives.
* Operate LOTO equipment as per the Cargill LOTO procedure.
* Any other tasks as required and within capability.
Qualifications
* Sound troubleshooting skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Very good time‐management skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and follow up.
* Willingness to accept accountability.
* Computer literate, able to enter and retrieve data accurately.
* Demonstrated high performance (work performance, attendance record, safety record).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SAP or similar ERP system.
