Overview
We are a Registered NDIS Service Provider servicing all Melbourne areas. We specialize in Disability Support Worker Services and strive to make a difference to the community and its people through our team of dedicated Support Workers. In this job, you will be working with participants 1-to-1. Please note, we are not a Residential Care Centre/Unit. You will work at the participant's residence and provide 1-to-1 service.
Eligibility and Qualifications
* MUST have experience working in Mental Health sector
* MUST have experience working with clients with high behaviour of concern
* MUST have your own car and comprehensive car insurance (Vehicle Allowance will be paid to you at $0.96 p.km)
* Full and Clean Australian Driver's License
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Qualification or Studying Disability/Nursing/Social Work/similar OR has equivalent experience
* Working with Children Check (must be employee card, not volunteer)
* First Aid Level 2 (current)
* CPR (current)
* In addition to the above list, you must have the right to live and work in Australia
Responsibilities
* To provide other support to participants as required such as:
* Grocery Shopping with Participant
* Going out for community participation
* Going to Temple/Mosque/Church and Parks
* Talking and engaging with participant
* Help clean the house

Job Details
* Job Type: Casual
* Pay: $31.00 - $39.00 per hour
* Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
* Schedule includes: 10 hour shift; 8 hour shift; Afternoon; Day; Morning; Weekend; Public holidays; Shift work; Weekend availability
* Location: In person
