**About the role**
Dulux is on a strong growth path and have made several acquisitions in the ANZ and European regions in recent years. This has created exciting new opportunities within our supply chain business.
This is a newly created role and as a purchasing officer will support our trade store network with planning and execution of purchasing activities. You will support and partner with 109 stores and our suppliers driving customer service and navigating product availability.
The role has been created with the notion to centralize the purchasing activities for our trade stores, bringing synergies and efficiencies within the business. Hence, a fantastic opportunity for you to demonstrate the value add to the business. The role has a strong career pathway and prospects to advance and develop its scope.
The role is based out of Clayton and is a brilliant platform that will develop your career.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage requisitions and place purchase orders to local suppliers
- Monitor promotional activity and place orders accordingly.
- Facilitate fulfilment of customer orders.
- Manage inbound inventory for new stores
- Facilitate the pricing, ordering and system control with suppliers ensuring on-time requirements are delivered.

- Advanced numerical and Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data
